Go for business if you doubt your capabilities and/or IT future
How is your father’s health? Realistically, for how many more years can he manage the business on his own?
If he can comfortably run it for another 5–6 years, I’d suggest continuing with your IT career while helping him during vacations or by introducing technology, automation, or new ideas to improve the business.
The real question is: how much value can you add? If your father’s business is already generating around ₹19 LPA and you believe your involvement can increase it to ₹30–40 LPA within the next 1–2 years, then joining the business could be a worthwhile decision.
Otherwise, it may be better to continue in IT and aim for a ₹20+ LPA salary. That would take your family’s total income to ₹40+ LPA, while also giving you the flexibility to join the business later if your career growth slows down or you face layoffs.
Let your father run it as long as he can , since anyways you are worried about stability continue in IT till your father can manage the business then you can take over.
You can manage the business in weekends in the meantime to get know the business, customers in case you don't know.
Join as employee in your fathers business related to your skill set work and know the entire business then be a head..if your not at all wanted to do the buisness if you dislike continue your job by conveying the same for respective people accordingly
Bussiness is far better than IT
