Congrats on getting an offer!
Can you DM me?
Was this your final round?
We call all candidates (acceptance or rejection) so call wouldn’t be an indicator usually though the calls would be from someone you interviewed with.
If it’s with the recruiter might also have to do with leveling like you interviewed for ASC and they think SC is the better fit so calling to discuss that
Got it! I was told it was a “superday” style evening which I did, and the idea was to move quickly after.
Sometimes the recruiter calls for declines. Partner or senior level calls for accepts
Sadly …sounds like a rejection. But don’t worry you will get something better
Fingers crossed..which group is this with?
If you’ve already done 4+ interviews including the super day, the call is likely to share our decision. But yes we do call all candidates. If you’re trying to read the tea leaves, I will say that offer calls are more likely to be done by more senior interviewers and decline calls are more often done by the junior or mid level folks, but it’s not a hard and fast rule so there’s no way to be sure until you hear directly from them.
To my knowledge yes. But there are some cases where it just takes a bit longer to agree on next steps.
