Hi! I’m 30, own a home, 50k in 401k & 25k in Roth, no other savings. Roth has a ROR of 2%. Should I leave $ in Roth? Reinvest in a diff acct? Grow it until I can buy an investment property?

I’d suggest leaving the $25k in the Roth IRA and definitely reinvest it. If you don’t mind me asking, what are you current holdings? 2% return is paltry in this economy. If you’ve been maxing it out, it’s only like 4-5 years old. Over that timeline, the S&P has increased 60%. Also if the account is not 5yrs old, you will get hit with tax penalties for withdrawals.

I put my 401k rollover from a previous company into a Roth and never did anything with it, it’s all short term reserves.

So just leave the money and allocate to stocks and bonds? (90/10)

Huh? 10 yoe and only c? It all adds up.

2% ROR in this market is criminal. Is it sitting in a money market? The S&P returned 30% last year. Find a financial planner, although their asset management fees can be high you are losing way more by not being invested in the right funds.

Huge btc short position in market right now, I expect a lot of liquidity issues to come to light soon. Bitcoin should end up below 30k and stay there as new resistance soon. You all doubt my previous posts but all these bumps to 37-39k are fake bounces from retail buying the dip. Defi is gonna unravel. Do you honestly believe the 10-40% defi interest rates were risk free. It’s all paid by stablecoin printing backed by the assumption that crypto prices would keep appreciating

I applied for a job and received an offer from my client. 15k+ bump in salary, better benefits/remote work, and responsibilities will give me exposure to all areas of the organization (start up). The problem is that they’re looking to staff me as a Senior when I’m currently a Manager at DT. They said they’re flexible on title, but curious to hear how others have navigated similar situations. I would report directly to the controller and have 1-2 staff reporting to me...

Any advice on how to pick the best company for me when offered a position from more than 1 company? I compared benefits, pros/cons, compared them on Glassdoor, questioned them about growth opportunities, asked about their culture.....anything I am missing? Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

I have significant equity in a property (300k+) and maybe another 200k across other properties. I have a decent amount of money in cash and already 200k or so in stocks. Would you consider pulling money through cash out refi and using it? I get nervous for stocks being so high. I have a few properties in pipeline already. How would you suggest using it (if at all).

Let’s say you have two young, high income partners in a couple who want to buy a house together but don’t really care to get married. Last night I went over to my friends house (she has 2 kids, 2 and 4 yo). She and her husband were asking me about my pregnancy and planning. And were asking what I’ve prepped to date. I’m only 13w2 days so I think it’s way to early for buying stuff, but I did mention we hired a baby nurse for when the baby comes. My friend completely berated me, short of calling me a bad mom already, saying “what is she going to do all day? Don’t you want to bond with your child?”. I’m so upset by this.
