The position is keeping , maintaining, and growing current key accounts. Your bonuses are determined on a few factors. Adds, stops, holds, and getting renewals on agreements. The salary seems consistent with what I’ve seen.
I think a lot of the job is going to depend on how the service person maintains their accounts. Also, at my location, I don’t know of a KAM who enjoys the position. But it’s primarily because of the lack of relationship between sales, service, and managers.
Good luck out there.
I've worked at Cintas in Sales before, not as a KAM though. I would 100% advise AGAINST working for Cintas. Every location and geography was different but in my experience the expected comp they give is inflated and it is a very high stress environment with a lot of micromanagement.
Good luck though! It's a crazy job market.
Unless you have worked at Cintas for many years and are used to working your life away, most do not enjoy the position. It's a lot of damage control, never being caught up and lots of meetings/ expectations. Salary is about $75,000 plus maybe $10k if you have a decent performing territory. Most "outsiders" to Cintas do not enjoy this role, as it's more of a service manager position rather than a typical sales role.
