Is there a bitcoin bowl?

I don't know about PwC, but the EY pension plan is top shelf. They quickly bleed you of your hopes and dreams, placing them in what I like to call "feelings purgatory". When you retire, those hopes and dreams are slowly funneled back into your life. This lasts for between 18 and 24 months, when you die.
We have two parts to the plan. One is the 401k. PwC matches 25% of the first 6% of your base- essentially that is 1.5% of your base as long as you contribute the minimum 6%.
Separately, we have a retirement wealth builder program where they contribute 4% (at least- of goes up with levels, I’m a manager and I think it’s 5 now and goes up to 6 at director if I recall correctly) regardless of contribution.
The 401k match and the RWBP both are fully vested at 5 years.
Hope that helps
I can't even buy a Chipotle bowl with mine!
Can anyone please explain the difference between 401k and pension plan? I come from a country where these things work a little differently...
All 100% vested
Almost 6yrs
I have $250k after 7 years
Were you contributing more than the minimum or did you have really high returns?
4-8% regardless of employee contributions depending on level plus up to 1.5% match on 401k
5 years takes long as hell lol
Omg what a great thing to realize LOL. Congratulations!!

Is it not convention for most employers (public or private) to match 100% on up to 5% of salary, so effectively up to 5%? So then you’re putting away 10% every year.
Where do you find how much is in your pension?
Yes, that’s the KPMG matching policy. Isn’t 10% the max or something? I feel like we talked about this in tax but that was so long ago lol
Over what period of time?
I just came to the same realization about a year ago (with similar timeframe). Never felt like I saved a ton, so felt really good to see that.
What's the pension plan you guys have?
2.5 yrs and I accumulated $68k. $35k for pension and $33k for 401k.
Thanks PwC 6!
