How are you structuring your utilization reports? I’ve always followed my agency’s template that shows all-in department/discipline hours and fee utilization. None of my clients have ever had much to say, but a newer, more intense client (to put it nicely) is demanding to see utilization by resource.

This particular client would absolutely name and shame the high-burners, so I pushed back citing agency SOP, but is this a common request and I’ve just been insanely lucky?

I work for a small agency and manage our internal marketing acct. We had very few processes in place when I started. I’ve since created, implemented, and trained our dept. on project mgmt for clients and am trying to convince the owner to apply those principles to our internal jobs.
