You can say something like, "I’m looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow my skills. I’ve enjoyed my time in my current role but feel it’s time to take on new responsibilities that align with my career goals.”
It's usually best to talk about how you want to find something that aligns with your long-term goals. If you have specific goals to cite, all the better. The thing to avoid, of course, is getting negative about your current situation. People often interpret that badly, justifiably or not.
You can say that you are looking for a new challenge a position where you can learn a new skill set.
But, that’s not why I am looking. I have been with company for 26 years and was already at director level. I am leaving because of new management and very toxic environment. I am on the downside of my career, but I have about 10 more good years. I doubt any hiring managers would want to hear that!’
Nice answe: looking for career advancement and expand my skills
True answer: my boss hid things from when about the job when I was hired, lied about the progression they promised, and held me back from going into a small niche I told them I wanted to learn/do.
I want to look out for new challenges and have more skills in these my noble professional.
I was leaving an incredibly toxic workplace after almost 5 years. I simply said I was ready for something different, which is true!! Good luck!

No one wants to know the undercurrent of why you are leaving. Your pay was bad/boss was terrible/unethical practices...we don't mention those. We pivot the leaving into a "what am I hoping for here?" You are likely leaving for better opportunities for growth, new experiences in your medical career, and a chance to work with top providers (research the facility and if they have magnet or some other designation you can mention it and score some points for being knowledgeable).
