How do you decide whether to apply for a role you are slightly underqualified for versus waiting until you meet more of the requirements?

Hello! I am a Sr. Product Designer at an enterprise SaaS company and am looking for some help!
I am having a difficult time meeting the expectations of the role because of my previous roles lack of management and more junior role responsibilities. I have been truly dedicating myself to becoming proficient in the necessary areas but am still struggling. Does anyone have any ideas or resource recommendations to help my really grow as a designer? Currently interviewing at JPMorgan in their CIB division for a associate operations role. Have met with 5 people for two different teams and another person for another team, all of which I believe are 3 total open positions for 3 different teams. So i work at this company in coimbatore (india) and we have a very poor work life balance. We have a 6 day working policy and no vacation or sick leaves just 1 day casual leave a month.
