I had final techno manager round which was completed on 30 Mar, and after ugadi holiday, on 6th I have received the positive feedback and confirmation mail and asked to share the payslips and relevant documents. Still waiting for the offer letter. Called HR on 20th April for the updates, she told she is working on my offer and it will release soon. Any ideas on this fishes?Cerner Corporation

Anyone have tips for cover letter/resume to stand out?
They are huge on not negotiating salary there based on their blog.
Anyone know the base salary/expected commission? - It requires you to answer on the application. I would be so thrilled to work at the company I just want to put what they start out at.

I haven't taken a "vacation" in almost three years. Even then, it was a few days off because I couldn't find childcare during a school closure (child was not yet at an independent age), and work ruined it. (I've since changed firms.) I'm currently at a conference for work, and I've elected to fly my husband and son down when it ends (tomorrow) and stay two extra nights to make this a "vacation." I will only be logging off for one work day.
Dont be me.
TAKE THE PTO.
Part of the reason you feel guilty is that you let yourself feel guilty. There are some people that you'll encounter in your life who have mastered the art of not giving a crap, and those are the freest people. They take the PTO they've earned, they live their life, and they don't give time and energy to the people who would judge them.
I am exactly this person.
Transformation started in Covid when I got to actually spend quality time with my young kids and I haven’t looked back since.
I still work a lot, but I never feel guilty about taking off a Friday, leaving work at 3 on a nice day, spring break with my kids etc.
