😂 this is too real

I really think that the insurance policy given by mediassist is way more expensive for parental insurance, means who will pay for 50k+ premium and that too for large copay, I guess the leadership team should intervene here....Parental insurance is really important for any employee and most of the time is only needed.
Recently I used parental insurance and found that the insurance company only paid for 50% of the total bill.

That's what I'm saying. A promotion to manager for you would be AcN giving you two promotions
@S: almost right. There have been some additional levels added. Analyst, Sr Analyst, Consultant, Sr Consultant (MBA hires), Manager, Sr Manager, Managing Director (4 levels aka Partner). For strategy, the time at each level has a max before being counseled out.
...said no one ever
Also, the point about being able to support 3 pillars of biz dev, client work, and practice contribution is important at all levels. Even analysts are expected to contribute to thought leadership and proposal work in addition to client work. Charge ability targets account for 1-2 weeks training and potentially BD depending on level.
Negative kpmg...tech side....just not SF
How are you certain they will jump you to THEIR manager position? That's more than one promotion
It's one promotion .. at pwc senior associate > Manager> director .... not sure how titles work in Accenture or KPMG!
Oh ok.. so which position at Accenture = Manager @PwC?
Senior consultants ? Just googled it
Accenture path equal analyst, consultant, associate mgr, mgr.
Make sure you are ready for the promo to mgr. Acn expecta mgrs to know their shit across three factors - business developer (writing rfp responses, presence in front of the client / peers), people developer (obvious), and i think it was tech delivery (not sure here...its been awhile).
Pwc prepares you really well for the biz side. The other two not so much. Acn at its core is about project mgmt and being able to talk technical from a been there - done that point of view. Being able to talk in general is ok at pwc...at acn it will get you killed.
Hope that helps
@acn....totally forgot about those new lower levels. I got out right when they introduced those new levels
@sc1 what do you do at slalom? Salesforce implementations?
@sc1 what do you do then just want some insights on slalom work
Let me see if can answer without giving away who i am.
Slalom has two sides - a local office side and a cross market group. The local office groups tend to be more project mgmt, OE, and generalist based. They dont travel.
The cross market side has two major areas....programming and tech (infrastructure consulting). Some cross market people travel like normal big 4 consultants (granted they travel in much better ways than big 4).
As a general rule...slalom is a lot more about product delivery than going thru whole bureaucracy and review cycles you see at the big 4.
All in all...we are not perfect..but the problems we have do feel like they are fixable and the leadership team is about making employees happy
Ok....I mean I do business analyst/pm work for technology on financial services. Do you know who I am?
