Can I company rescind an offer?
I negotiated too hard on the level and salary. Today was my offer acceptance deadline and the recruiter reached out to me saying that they understand me not bei mg happy with this offer as they didn’t meet my level and salary requirements and would love to stay in touch for future opportunities.
I replied back saying I accept (since I really like the role, the team and the company and am fine with the slight pay cut) but haven’t heard back. It’s been 9ish hours

If you transfer from one firm to another, do everyone a favor and learn your new firm's culture/ways of doing things as quickly as possible. Listen to people, even those below you, on these things. 😡

I’m interviewing for a new job and am in the final stages for two roles. One is at a company that my friend works at and loves. She said the wlb and career opportunities are amazing, but the salary increase would only be around $10k. The other would be a 20-30k increase but it’s a a big consulting firm and I’m concerned that the wlb would be pretty horrible. I’m thinking of going with the lower paying one, is that a dumb decision?

I quit a small PA company to join big4 but my manager here is picky and she fixed everything that I did to her way. Now old manager asks if I want to come back if she matches the salary. What should I do? Yes I like my old manager, team and it was so comfortable back there. I don’t like big4 timesheet and the reason I left my old company because of I moved to different city. But now old company can provide wfh as well as big 4 I’m working now. Can someone give me advice?

Analyst fixed salary range 5-12 lpa
Consultant fixed salary range 11-16 lpa

In Accenture strategy
Analyst fixed salary range goes till 18 lpa
Consultant fixed range goes till 28 lpa

But for Manager level, both company's fixed pay in range of 30-50 lpa..

Is this correct observation?

Hey guys, got an offer from a niche consulting firm with a great reputation. Their pay is lower in comparison to market but is currently higher than mine. Why is my negotiation skill so bad!! Every time there is a salary discussion, I get nervous and quote a lower ectc and get even lower (as expected). This is my second switch, and I made the same mistake again, which I made the first time. Now I see all these beautiful ctc on fishbowl and get even more mad about my stupidity.
