I am currently working with TCS as PL/SQL Developer. I have 5 years and 6months of experience. And my CTC is 6.47LPA (Including 54k variable pay) . I have cleared technical round interview at Infosys. Waiting for HR discussion. I am expecting 13LPA (including 10% variable pay). Will they offer job with this package? Or this expectations is too high?

I applied for a job at Visa and was contacted the same day. A few days later I had a 30-minute screening interview with the hiring manager. I knew I was very early in the process since the job had only been posted for a few days. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard back, even after reaching out to the recruiter. I am in a super good position at Jellyfish as a Director with a good room in terms of growth. Great responsibilities, work life balance and I strongly love my job. However, there is an opportunity to join Google Dublin as an Agency Development Manager (level 4) with strong salary, new challenges, different role and responsibilities etc. I HAVE A STRONG DOUBT about a trade off: is better to have a strong margin of growth and a good position or join Google with the above conditions?

Anyone have experience applying to roles that are a bit out of reach? I’m looking at a few roles asking for 5 or 6 years of experience while I’m at 4. I’ve had success with this is past but I’m not sure how strict google is with this. Thanks!

I’ve applied to 3 program manager roles with google and even though I feel I’m over qualified, I’m not getting any interviews or even a screening call from a recruiter. I got NTD for 2/3 already.

Here are my observations about the skills and experiences that PMs have and how people are joining that group.

They are all technical. All of them could easily be very technical cloud consultants or cloud engineers.
Tl/Dr. If you couldn't get hired as a cloud engineer or cloud consultant - you probably can't become a PM
