I am currently pursuing a position to be a 401k workplace planning consultant with Fidelity Investments. I would like to connect with someone who has gone through that training and early hiring process to make sure I have a solid understanding of the position. This is specifically for the Raleigh/Durham NC area if possible.

I try to take mine when it's convenient for the company. That's usually how I get the days I want off. Part of being higher up in logistics means you have to work around the company's schedule. What time of the year is the best for you to take off?

I see. Actually with my job currently, I usually take a week off in the summer and another week in the fall/winter.
When the season is the least busy, I'll give two weeks notice for PTO.

That’s good! Do you have a backup for when you are gone?
I try to take time off at least once per quarter. My preference is for small vacations/long weekends, so this works well for me.

I love that! I do that too! I like my longer weekends!
I aim to take at least two weeks of PTO per year, typically split into one week chunks to recharge, explore new destinations, and return to work feeling refreshed and energized.
