HCL Technologies offer being delayed and recruiter keeps saying that there's a problem with their "Offer release portal system." I have already stated my issues with relocating until after I have the offer signed and ready. The project is supposed to start on the 19th and I'm supposed to join before, or on that date. It's already coming up soon and I don't have the official offer so that I can confidently start the relocation process. Has anyone else recently dealt with this?

Yes, that is tough situation. I have politely stated something along the lines of, "Interesting point. Did you know that...?" and then go back to the subject at hand. There was no tension after that.
Ugh I hate that. Smile and nod, or acknowledge what they're saying politely before quickly moving back to the topic at hand.
Or simply master the art of having a civil dialogue with others of differing viewpoints.
The guy casually dropped "woke mind virus" into conversation when discussing a brand update. Hard to engage with that
I found a polite way to say “a great mentor taught me early on to never talk about (or i learned early on not to) politics or religion at work” and try to use that when i can in a friendly way of course. You’d be surprised how this can be delivered somewhat with humor but also puts up a boundary and also allows you to switch topics and move on.
You say something vague, chuckle it off and then ask a question that is completely irrelevant to the topic
