During the pandemic I dove into my self care (found a therapist, learned I was having seizures and got on meds for that). My journey has been difficult and not pretty to watch. Can an ADA make the jump to big law or a boutique litigation firm? I’m a NYC ADA (DANY/KCDA) from a Tier 2 law school (top 45% only) and top 10 undergrad. Can experience make up for mediocre grades?

Does industry have billable hours? At the big 4, we are required to work a certain number of hours each week and if we spend too much time on anything we are questioned on why it took so long. Is that a thing when you go in industry?
