Gave interview in TCS, it went pretty well. At the end, the tech interviewer asked my expected ctc. After mentioning as 27lpa, he asked if can be negotiated, told yes.
After that didn't get any feedback, its been around 5days.
Is 27lpa too much fr tcs? 🤔

I'll be the only one to say that you need to be honest. Don't lie about having been "laid off" or voluntarily leaving because of something wrong about the company.
If you lie, you'll be found out. Count on it. While people here will tell you that companies are only "legally permitted" to give your title and years of service, they're wrong. Truth is an absolute defense.

I would disclose it when asked directly or when discussing my reason for leaving. I think being honest, concise, and forward-looking is usually the best approach.
