Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

Yes. I hope you don’t enjoy work/life balance.
If you haven't even started yet, it seems odd to me that they would already be blowing up your email. I would definitely see that as a red flag.
I wouldn't be too shocked by that. It's a startup, the culture is to be active. In the context of a startup, asking you to join their slack and some meetings sounds like a pretty friendly welcome aboard message. I'd just go with it.
I’m sorry to hear they’re not respecting your time to unwind between jobs.
If it were me, I’d definitely be concerned, but I’d still stay open to the position, especially if your current high-stress role is one you really need to get away from. Are you still in your current role, or are you between jobs right now?
If you’re comfortable with it, you could set up an auto-reply on your email that includes your official start date and lets them know you’ll review and set up what you can before then. Maybe set aside just a small block of time you’re okay with using to prepare. That way, you’re showing initiative while still protecting your downtime.
I wouldn’t join any meetings or respond to emails yet, though. Set up Slack as late as possible. Reviewing the documents might be enough to help both you and your new employer get a smoother start.
Good luck—I really hope it all works out for you!
