I already have an Amex gold. What’s a good card to supplement that? About to spend 4k on a medical bill, so I’m looking to charge it to a new card for a sign on bonus and then pay it off. Mostly travel with delta and American

If you’ve got a significant other the delta platinum with Amex can be great. $250 annual fee and after the first year get companion pass for anywhere in the 48 states for a round trip. Easily pays for itself. Plus 2 checked bags per person.

Luggage delay claim question

I used Chase explorer to buy tickets for my vacation and luggages were delayed for a month. Per chase term I am entitled $100 a day for 3 days. But the claim agency chase used has been asking for airlines response, which has not came (2month+ now). I am concerned insurance will use this as an excuse to never compensate. Is there a good way to handle this situation?

I have some capital losses from stocks and crypto in the amount of $17 and $4 respectively. Do I have to report that in my taxes?

They are minuscule and I’ll rather not because if I do, turbo tax charges me an extra $125 just to be able to use their schedule D functionality. My net tax return is about -$100 and adding the losses doesn’t change that. I don’t want to pay an additional $125 especially if it’s not helping me in any way.
