Could just mean the higher-ups like you but they want to confirm the people working with you more (SMs) don’t hate you before giving an offer.
Coach
When I interviewed at PwC the initial meeting was with a partner. Then I interviewed with two SMs.
It’s a good chance for both sides to see if you’d be a good fit. And if you have any concerns that you didn’t want to raise with the partner, you can ask them. For example I asked the two SMs if they’d ever cried at work.
i think it’s a good question I worked in my old firm for 3+ years maybe cried once and it’s not really work related but I changed my job (I thought it’s a dream job😸) cried many many times and I jumped again and recovered agin so I think it is the job itself truly not for me.
Maybe you will be in their team😺
In PwC normally for a manager interview you have one round with a SM or a director. I know because I interviewed a couple of managers as well as a SM.
2 round is reasonable.
