I am wondering if Product Management roles in India are only subjected to very limited aspects of the overall role. In my experience, companies mostly want Product Managers to be great at building and executing Roadmaps/Features and liaising with multiple stakeholders. JDs ask for a whole lot of skillsets ranging from Competitive Analysis to pricing to Sales support to what not but I just wonder if these skills are actually required. Any views here.
