I am interested in getting into forensic accounting and business valuation. I will be starting at a top 20 national firm next year, and they are pretty flexible in allowing associates to explore what they like for the first year. But then I will need to pick a path. Where is a good place to start? It seems that audit is usually the path people take, but is a tax background valuable as well?

I'd also appreciate any insight into "a day in the life" of a forensic accountant. Is there an okay WLB?

How far into implementation and execution do you get as a strategist (and what's your specialty). I notice social strategist tend to get way more into the executional portion, even writing copy etc. whereas brand strategy tends to roll off once the briefing process is done. Does brand strategy ever go on shoots or vendor/production meeting and are they responsible for it? How do you know if someone likes you in the beginning of dating? I met this guy online who I thought was cute and we went on a few dates. He always texted me right after the date and always initiates another date right after or within a day. I'm getting a MAcc to career change to forensic accounting. What opportunities are available to me with a data analytics heavy MAcc? I'm also tacking on 2 graduate certificates in Applied Statistics and International Economic Policy? For those in the field, would that be useful or not useful (i.e. waste of time)?
