Following... I have no idea other than to change industries and find a job that doesn’t drain my soul.
Oh no! MM1 are you brand side or ad agency? I’m sure there is something out there for you!
Build ‘slow time’ into your day. Get up earlier so you can avoid racing into the day.
It’s never as bad as it seems and if it is, you at least know what needs to change or what you can fix. Don’t be afraid of finding something new, sometimes getting canned is actually a god send. When you remove the Fear of failure, anxiety seems to subside.
This. I give myself fifteen minutes to lie in bed and put a face mask on or use the ice roller from amazon and give myself affirmations eg you can make it through this day. You’re just fine. It’s gonna be a great week. Plus the wfh piece I’ve found to help tremendously with Monday anxiety
When I started in advertising I had this so bad. I got to every Friday so relieved it was over and Sun evening was so sad and stressful... In time it was not so stressful. Now I suppose its more dreading a routine more than anything. I have realized advertising is to too much of an “office job” for me I not too much into playing the corporate game, and thats just me, and when I was younger I didnt know how to deal with being part of a big agency so that is why it causes anxiety I think.
A consistent CBD regime has helped me a ton. I really like Equilibria’s mint drops.
I try to get to bed really early with some tea and then just read. Cozy comfort 🙏
That’s why I’m out
How/why?
Do something that brings me joy on sundays and takes my mind off of it—see a friend distantly, make calls for Biden, watch a show I love
Now I’m a freelancer by way

When Sunday’s start being anxious its a signal that you need to listen to. Try to zero in on what makes you anxious. Do you have a Monday status etc. that makes you worry?
One thing I used to miscalculate was leaving grocery runs for Sunday afternoon. Forget that, it’s added stress. Plan ahead and order online; often even a local market will deliver. Save Sundays for a drive, exercise, a load of laundry maybe, (NOT FOUR), Netflix and a glass of wine. We also do takeout or treat ourselves to pizza so we don’t have to cook up a storm. Sundays require quiet as we mentally prep for the week.
Do you get this type of treatment outside of work? You might be better off speaking to someone who can coach you to overcome these types of undesired interactions towards you.
Try to go for a walk, treat myself to some wine at the end of
The evening so it feels like I’m
Savoring every last bit of the weekend and have something to look forward to. Make some healthy chili if I’m up to it. Bed as early as possible.
