I had 2 partner interviews with Deloitte who both said they wanted me. then the recruiter said she’d get back to me in a few days with a decision. After I didn’t hear back I reached out to the recruiter and said another few days. Still no word. Should I reach out again? Last time I reached out was 8 days ago.

I got a call from the Google recruiter about my L7 em interview Google She said I did overwhelmingly good on all interviews except one had mixed feedback on a system design. No surprise because it was not a good interview. The recruiter said i had a choice to go to hiring committee, give referrals they could call about my system design or take another system design interview. I’m not confident about the system design because of the bad experience I had with the previous interviewer. What should I do?

Once. Don't be too annoying. Your part is done and now it's on them to get through the process.
I usually don’t follow up but people on here have said to do it twice, which I feel is too much.

Reach out directly to the partners. The experienced hire recruiters are overworked and things may be slipping. If the partners want you and they are hearing the hiring process is being drawn out, I guarantee things will be expedited. Welcome in advance.

In the meantime, you can apply for different company and get an offer. You can then rush them by telling them that you have different offer and need to respond to other company soon. So you can ask them to speed up their hiring process. If they don’t reply to you, it means you don’t really need you at this moment and you can move on.

Yea. I recently got an offer. I didn’t intend to rush them but when I had a phone interview with HR, they asked me if I had other offers or any interviews. I told them I did have team interview with another company. So they scheduled team interview quickly and also informed interviewers that I had different interview. They made their decision pretty quick. Literally the next day, I got an email from HR saying that they decided to give me an offer.
What wild kind of interview did you have that they said they wanted you afterwards?
I always ask interviewers if they see me being a good fit after the interview.
I think I waited a month and when I referred someone to the firm it took a little bit over a month after the interviews.
Oh wow. The recruiter told me I would hear back 2 business days after the interviews. When I didn’t hear after 6 business days i reached out but was told another 2 business days. Sigh. But I’ll wait
I’d refer you to KPMG if you want to check out other opportunities.
The process takes a while, just try to be patient. I received a verbal offer 3 weeks after the last interview and it took another week to get the written
