I am losing weight because Of three home cooked meals a day and we eat a lot of veggies so this thing has been a boon for my health.
Same here, loosing 1 pound a week
Intermittent fasting. It’s amazingly affective. And tons of sleep. Which helps with the fasting.
If you can’t control yourself. Throw it in the trash

Hahahahaha
I think the main tip that would help you most is: stop drinking wine. Also stop eating popcorn and sweets.

Well, I need healthier than like Veggies lol.
Runnnnn. I eat more now but honestly just burn off the calories by running 6-8 miles per run about 3-4x a week!
But seriously. All it is is math. You eat more than you burn, you gain weight. If you want to cut, burn more energy. I do cardio so I can eat pizza....lots of pizza.

I’m up to a bottle a night :). You?

Two bottles a week 😅

So, you’re homeschooling too?
Pop your own popcorn in a popper, less calories! Do jumping jacks while it pops.
I bought a Coravin a few years ago. I used to have a few glasses of wine because I wouldn’t want to waste it, but now I buy nicer bottles and can actually just enjoy 1 glass. I also quit drinking on week days which helps a lot.

👆🏻that is it.
Find out how much calories you need to maintain your current/previous weight and count everything you eat throughout the day, sounds crazy but once you get into it it’s very good for tracking your diet
Workout a little if you still want the wine and popcorn. Start using an app like my fitness pal to help you . But either workout or if you don’t want to try to maybe drink wine only on weekends ?
And also as far as myself, I really love, love to eat. I try to keep my bfast healthy because I don’t care about it as much. Then I have 2 snacks and I try to do 1 fruit and then something I enjoy. Then lunch and another 2 snacks, before dinner . After dinner I typically don’t eat again. Lately I’ve been munching more because I see my husband eating snacks and then for some reason I want to eat snacks too. But my fitness pal really helps me because I have to measure the food and I can see exactly how much I’m eating. It’s a battle for sure thoguh and not easy. I try to workout 5 times a week . If you like working out there’s a lot of great free fitness plans on IG. But if you don’t really like to work out I def suggest an hour walk if you are in an area where you can avoid contact with lots of people.

Take up running. It’s great for your mental health in this environment. And yes, cut sugar and alcohol. Good for weigh cutting as well as for your immune system. And it’s ok to cheat a little
I’ve been drinking more than ever (happy hour at 3, anyone?), eating like crap, and not working out - and haven’t gained a pound. My husband and I are truly shocked. What I have done: 1). intermittent fasting-ish - stop eating earlyish, try not to eat until 11am or 12pm the next day. This basically means cutting a meal, but I snack so much that calories are similar. 2) replace carby alcohol with less carby alcohol. I’ll have the occasional bottle of wine (split... ish) but mainly drink Truly seltzer. 3) limit carbs after 3 pm. I’ve eaten like trash - canned spaghettios and meatballs, anyone? - but I do it earlier in the day. If I do have pasta late in the day, it’s smaller portions and not wheat, like a banza chickpea pasta. 4) Daily walks. I start every day with a probiotic, a glass of water, and a 1 mile+ walk.
Pre-quarantine, I was militant about measuring calories in/out and gained so much weight if I ever deviated by eating, drinking, and not exercising, but somehow now I’m maintaining... maybe lower cortisol levels and no travel? Regardless, good luck - I hope this helps!
I’ve packed my fridge with seltzer waters.. it’s not the same but it’s something to replace the habit of reaching for a glass of wine.
Sometimes if I’m feeling fancy I’ll pour it over ice and add few drops of bitters.

Is that why am having sleep issues ?? Gosh
So I put my wine in my food app 😩 if I want to drink at night, I have to run the stairs for 10 - 1 minute intervals plus my regular morning workout! If you don’t run the stairs, no wine reward! It’s kept me on track, I’ve lost 5 lbs since WFH
Yes! So happy to help! We have to keep each other sane 🙌🏼❤️
It’s hard but if you are able to cut out alcohol (even a portion), it will really help maintain/ lose weight. I used to love a few drinks at the lobby bar. Since I’m home, I try to avoid those drinks and actually have lost weight as a result. It is hard... but it worked for me. Maybe it could work for you as well?
Yeah but sometimes Monday from 9-noon is the time of the week that most needs a drink.
So good job, especially since it's within arms reach now.
I find it really helpful to limit myself with those sorts of things. That way I can still enjoy them, but in moderation. Like limiting myself to two cookies per day, for example.
Calorie deficit is the only way to lose weight. Which means you either start eating less or you start using more calories (exercise). Or a combination of both.
