I have an MS in industrial engineering with a focus on supply chain. Started as a production engineer, but now in data and analytics consulting. Want to transition to supply chain positions with a focus on analytics. Which positions and companies in the US should I target? Appreciate any advice!

I guess the first question is, what are you interested in more? Do you want to be on the ops, supply chain, or tech side? That'll help narrow things down to an extent. there are analyst positions, but also more data science stuff that might be worth looking at?

I would look at companies with positions that have daily analytics functions with some business function responsibilities but also open and scalable to project related data science, I understand those can be different positions but if the culture is right then I think some cross functional work would be amazing, hoping to find the right balance.

Have you found any more insight on this?

No I haven't still looking around in this brutal job market

My old employer asked me if I wanted to come back to the company as a manager. The pay will likely be much better and the position holds more responsibility than I’ve had before, so overall it would be a step up. The issue is I left the company because of an abusive manager who constantly put me down and made me feel like I wasn’t doing anything right. If I come back I’d be working under her again. I’m torn because the opportunity is great but the stress was awful. Continued in comments…

Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

Looking to get advice on two different job offers. I am only concerned about long term career prospects in choosing one or the other. Offer 1: warehouse manager for a beverage company. Offer 2: material distribution manager for an industrial equipment manufacturer. Again, only want input on future opportunities that each might provide. Thanks!

Today I messed up doing a delivery. The client was expecting the supplies at 3pm in the warehouse, however, there was an accident on the highway and traffic was insane. It slipped my mind to let them know about the delay. Now, they believe it was me being irresponsible and are threatening to fire me for not reporting on time and possible losing them a client. What can I do to fix the situation?
