I have CMA (lollypop degree, btw). Thinking about the CGMA but ONLY because it's AICPA. Any benefits apart from that? Is it worth the time?

I have a CGMA and I didn’t take a test. All I did was pay for the designation when it was first offered. So that’s what I think of folks with a CGMA designation.

I have my cma cpa and cma. I’d recommend cpa before any other cert

But why doesn’t the AICPA just want anybody sitting for the exam? I’ve done the CFA which is a lot tougher than CPA and there you can just sign up. If you’re smart enough to pass the CFA (most aren’t), then good on ya. I wish the CPA was the same way.

I have my CMA and found the exam was challenging for me. It also seemed like it overlapped quite a bit with some CPA material. I’ve thought about getting my CPA, but I’m really hesitating. I don’t know if I like this lifestyle that much.
