Im not searching for a new job but an acquaintance reached out about a similar role at a similar energy company.Turns out 2 ppl threw my name in the hat. I looked into it and the position was posted 2 weeks ago.Their director wants to meet.I bet pay is one of the first things to be discussed so that no one’s time is wasted.Am I crazy for not wanting to entertain it for less than 20-25% base pay increase? Is it selfish to ask for more? I’m sure most salary conversations end in negotiation anyways?
JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

Be ready to talk about the smartest strategies you’ve seen. Be interested in the craft. Ask them about the role, what are the expectations, and what do they need you to do? How can YOU help them? make them see you’re pleasant to be around, you work hard, and you’re hungry. Plus you’re not right out of school and have some real world experience. You’ll do great.
Thank you!!
Agree 100% with GCD. And my two cents is just to show passion for whatever you do. That goes a long way IMO. Sounds like you will crush it based on the questions you’re asking.
First interview will likely be an screener about your past experiences, why you are interested in this role & this company. for next step you should know the answers to the following questions
1. how would you explain what strategy is to your grandma
2. What’s one Strategy work from that agency that you like
3. What’s an example of bad strategy
4. Why do you want to work with that company
GCD1 is right on. Just engage them as if you already have the job, and don’t be afraid to show your enthusiasm and love of the work. Don’t be intimidated. Good luck!
Do your homework on the agency. Be aware of the latest work they have done and have an opinion on it. Also - be honest about your passion for the job. Explain why you really want this. And send me your resume. I’m looking for a entry level strat!
