I have my MSHRM; which I got before I started working in HR, and a PHR but with this new HRM role I'm thinking of getting an HR Certification in Strategic Management. It is very costly. Has anyone taken any of these Certification programs? Is it worth it?

Does the word “inclusion” do more harm than good? What if the panel we simply said “Diversity & Equity”? Fellow Payroll colleagues, how much are you getting paid and YOE? I’m a new pay admin with less than a year of experience in Hawaii and I feel like I am underpaid for the amount of work I do. I received a request from HR which is asking me acknowledge the receipt of Employee Handbook. The email also talks about acknowledging Employment Arbitration Policy & that nothing in the handbook is intended to constitute a waiver of your or company’s rights to compel arbitration of employment relate disputes”. What does this mean? I am in the middle of applying to FAML. Not sure if this can have anything to do with that?

SPHR exam- has anyone ever been “randomly selected” for an application audit? This just happened to me and the sheer amount of effort that is going to go into collecting all the documents almost makes me not want to follow through. Since I didn’t finish undergrad, they’re asking for a copy of my high school diploma or transcript and that itself is going to be an absolute nightmare to get hold of. Guess I’m not really looking for a solution here, just venting.
