all of this sounds terrible. buy her left handed clubs so she hates the sport and you get to continue to have fun with your friends
Second swing or even the used section of PGA Tour superstore.
The beginner sets are fine, but I’d take a quality used club over a crappy new club.
Don’t even need a full set until she’s committed. Get a long iron, 7,9,P,3 wood
Thanks for the advice!
Top Flight has great full sets with bag at Dicks Sporting goods .. womens right/ left Pay attention to height: i think regular goes to 5’7” and for you wife looks like the talker set may work … on sale sometimes 299-349
Graphite , large driver, excellentvputter … online ordering , will switch grips for cost of grip only
My wife started playing golf last Fall and we bought that set. It’s perfect for a beginner (I’d recommend buying a SW too). If she is still into it next year we’re going to upgrade her set.
It is great having her play. Our weekend dates usually start with golf first now.
I got my wife - also a beginner - these and she loves them: https://www.touredge.com/2020-moda-silk-womens-full-set
Costco has clubs now. Have not used or heard anyone use them, but they are callaway
I would not start with women's clubs....too short. I didnt know that until I went to an LPGA instructor two years into my learning. I just got senior men's Wilson Launch Pad clubs. Worth checking out. Very forgiving and much more fun for a beginner to see that ball up in the air.
