I need real advice. I've got 15 yrs management consulting experience (strategy/operations), Masters degree from top school, MBA (focus: supply chain) and am six sigma MBB with deep MFG experience. Like many, I was impacted with the mid 2000's downsizing and took a corporate consulting job at a well known engineering software company, but with much lower compensation...demoralizingly low. How do I get back into firms like Deloitte, PwC, etc. and get paid what I'm worth (Principal level)?

Today I got the job offer and they are offering me 54k. My current company is making me 50k with tons of benefits which is why I am asking for 60k.
