Need to be around 3 years to be enrolled in shadow equity “value accumulation plan,” where you are granted “shares” in the company yearly with a vesting period over 7 years that you hope will grow over time
I’m on the medical plan where I pay $0 monthly premium, but yearly deductible is $4k, max yearly OOP is $7k. I contribute to HSA.
401k — we get a match? Lol
401k match is paid jan 1 or jul 1 after 1 yr of service
401k and shadow equity are both uncompetitive and not relevant until you’ve been with the firm for several years. That’s why they didn’t provide details.
AP7 it take 3 years for the 401k to kick in so sort of irrelevant early on

Assume no benefits from or discount 401k or the shadow equity plan (called VAP - value accumulation plan). 401k (2-3% of your total comp) doesn’t kick in until after year one. VAP is effectively worthless unless you stay here for life.
The “best” insurance plan is roughly $50/month. Dental and vision are free.
I am hearing paternity/maternity leaves aren’t great compared to other firms, and bonus is prorated if you take any leave, I could be wrong
They got rid of the pro/rated bonus aspect, no penalty to bonus for taking leave anymore.
They will just lower ur bonus
