Which company would you join?
I currently work in Sales with the intention of moving over to marketing in the near future. I received two offers for BDR/SDR roles from Sprout Social and Gong. Both salaries are around the same (Gong - base 63k + anticipated $25k in commission, Sprout - 55k base + anticipated $25k in commission).
I like both companies’ software and it extremely hard to decide which position will get me into marketing faster as it is not a traditional BDR path to take.

Bain & Company What is the likelihood of making SAC in September 2022 if I join as an AC on April 18th at Bain & Company? I am a senior consultant at EY with 3.5 years of experience in Data Analytics. Or is March 2023 more realistic? They told me 6 months for promotion but it seems like the two promotion cycles with my different start dates give me 4 or 9 months of experience, nothing in between. I’ll be joining in the private equity group which will be new for me.

Hello! Is anyone working at Spotify or HubSpot within product/project management that would be willing to connect for a virtual coffee chat?
I’m a recent grad and currently working in tech/product development. I have been interested in growing my career at either of these companies and would be grateful to gain insight on day-to-day and steps you took to successfully break in.
I know this might be a big ask here, but it’s been difficult trying to land one on LinkedIn. Thanks in advance

The hangover is real today.
Hi everyone,
I am looking for someone to take over my 2Bed/2Bath lease in 420 E Ohio (Streeterville) starting in November (flexible). The apartment, the building amenities and neighborhood are truly AWESOME, but I got a new job outside of IL and will be relocating. Message me if interested!

You might want to check what the entry requirements to sit are for the CPA in the state you are moving to as you may need a masters to sit it:

just checked with Nasba, they said only California accepts ACCA towards 150 credit requirement.
Op I would say it’s going to be completely different and somewhat hard. Your background may help you a bit with audit exam but that is mostly US GAAP based. What I would recommend is get registered at a university near you and try to take the graduate level classes that mimic CPA exams. Most of the universities have graduate level classes that cover the same material as FAR, Audit, BEC and Reg or at least 3 out of these 4. I think you will have the hardest time with Reg since it US tax and business law. Good luck Op
I actually self studied for ACCA entirely and for some ACA courses during busy seasons so that won't be a problem. But thanks for your advice 👍
I’m sure your firm offers free study materials to take the CPA exams (becker, wiley etc) which I think should suffice. You don’t have to enroll in classes unless your credential evaluation does not meet the 150 minimum units required. I was also an international hire and had to take CPA exams again (I was already a CPA in my home country). There are 4 exams, REG, FAR, BEC, and AUD. I would say the biggest difference is reg (mainly taxes). You’d have to familiarize yourself with it. For FAR, IFRS GAAP is not that much different from US GAAP so I did not study too much on it except for the key ifrs/us gaap differences. Audit (except for pcaob rules) and BEC had pretty much the same concepts as my home country. Good luck! 👊🏻
Oh I'm sorry I confused your Phillipines CPA with US, thinking you had to take the exam twice. My bad. Thanks for guiding bro, really appreciate it!
