Sounds like wells is pretty stringent on potential hires. The word on the street is A lot of people leaving wells. Might rethink

I think a resume, and for that matter your email address, matters a lot. If you can't take the time to construct a good resume and appropriate email address, I'm not going to waste my time on you.

Unless you're applying to be a pole dancer, baby cakes is not appropriate. People who are quality make the effort upfront. There are always exceptions to the rule, of course.

Lmao

I totally understand this, but what a shame that potentially great candidates will never get an interview because of this silliness on their resumes.

Lol

Hi Fishes,
I recently got shortlisted for a Product Manager position at Tracxn. There’s also an IPO coming up which is the reason I had applied.
But I have read some horrifying reviews about the company on Glassdoor, indeed and other forums.

I’m wondering whether it’s worth going through the interview process and I’d also like to hear opinions from anyone who has worked with the company or is aware of the company culture.

Thanks.

I’m currently interviewing with a few top 10 firms and a couple top 100 firms for a mostly remote experienced associate/new senior role. Does anyone have any tips on virtual interviews and how to gauge the culture of the firm and if it really will be a good fit for you? I’m struggling to figure out that out because I used to gauge it on the feeling I got while in their office during interviews. Any suggestions would be helpful :)

I come to find out that deep, hidden within the website of the hypothetical client, they use the service already. This one is for folks on h1b visa. So at time when you have an offer in hand(not accepted the offer yet and h1b transfer process not yet begun) while you are working with your current employer, do you even speak to your employer about your new offer to see if they make a counter offer?
Is there a risk involved with this approach assuming your current employer doesn't provide you with a counter offer and they ask you to leave immediately (and your h1b visa hasn't been transferred either)

CFP study programs:

I'm a little confused on Danko - does he offer a self-study option for the coursework requirement? On his website it looks like each module has a 4-day virtual class which I wouldn't be able to attend due to working full time. Does this program also include self-study material, and the classes are just supplementary/optional? I was also looking at Dalton for self-study and Danko for test prep. Thoughts?
