This also happened to me but I documented everything and negotiated an exit plan as I knew they were out to get me after reporting the issues. However, in your case you should reach out to a lawyer. HR protects the company not the employee. Good Luck!
Yes... and don't allow them to drag you into Arbitration, if you can avoid it! That's the employer's territory and that process is designed to help employers more than employees
thats pretty crazy
HR is not there for your benefit, it is for the benefit of the institution..you basically gave them enough evidence for them to let you go as harsh as that may sound…been there done that
Did you document everything? Lawyer up asap
At JPM- I believe it …it’s become a toxic environment
But but.. it was always toxic
lawyer up quickly.
The same thing happened to me at PNC Bank a few months back. I reported my manager for her constant racially insensitive troupes she made towards the black and Latino employees of the bank. I was placed on paid leave while they investigated my claim. I was left on paid leave for exactly 30 days then called and terminated over the phone.
Nobody can report
EEOC claim
My friend, seek legal counsel immediately! What they just did is a serious violation against federal and several state laws. You were a victim of “Retaliation”. Under multiple State and federal laws, employers are forbidden from engaging in any sort of Retaliation against an employee who has lawfully submitted a report, filed a suit, appeared as a witness, cooperated with the authorities, took any legal action, or launched a formal or informal complaint about illegal activities occurring in the workplace. These illegal activities can include Wage & Hour violations, Sexual Harassment, Discrimination, Fraud, Tax Evasion, Abuse, or any other unlawful activities.
Lawyer up and I’m sending prayers your way. You’re winning this one for sure 👍🏼
Lawyer
Did this manager drive out 1/2 the team she was on over the last 2 years?
Wondering if it was the same team I was forced to leave.
Yes! That’s the same person! I saw like 7 staff members come and go in less than a year.
Agree with EEOC complaint, contact National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). And lawyer up immediately, if not already taken advice from others.

I was fired because my boss hated my face. My replacement is now being hired at 40% less than what I was making. Welcome to the club.
Do something
I previously worked for JPM same thing happened to me! laid off for reporting two managers who were harassing me. terrible management
Two words - EEOC complaint
Hey buddy you’re going to have a nice fat settlement soon. Don’t worry.
You must be a 50+ year old, straight, white, Christian male.
Same thing happened to me at Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley. I made the mistake of thinking HR would be on my side. Quite the opposite. They are nothing more than the lap dogs of the institution.
My advice: Record *everything*. DO NOT SIGN *ANYTHING*, and start the process of taken them to court. If you want to smell like a rose, start by saying to just want your job back.
Did their actions warrant reporting them?
It had to be a somebody from Wells Fargo. 🤦🏻♀️🙄
Get a lawyer, don’t be intimidated, don’t give up!
