I work at a "somewhat" Bigtech, (not FAANG), as a software engineer. My question is that I've been working there for 9 months and I feel like my domain knowledge is still lacking. Documentation is not really that great, and code base is huge. My manager always said "Don't worry. You are not even been here for a year" if I ask what else I should do to get better. Is this a common thing working for a big company? My experience always been working at small/startup company in the past.

Tips from those of you who have moved from agency to in-house?

I need advice , 2YOE big 4 audit . My dream job is forensic investigation /intelligence /litigation. Current location is USA and I will be moving to Canada next year fall. I don’t want to work in audit when I get there. This busy season has really stressed me out. Should I stick it out for this last year or get a job in forensic field now . Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? I'm looking for recommendations for two areas: 1) in general laying the groundwork in a startup to have the tools and especially processes in place to scale, and 2) tactical focus on building a SaaS project. I've been promoted into a management role from Dev roots, so need to learn more PM processes to be an effective manager in day job, plus would like to start building my own SaaS solution.

Will I be accepted as an intern/junior designer in my early 30s?
