If I used all my FSA funds prior to the end of the year, my employer is still going to deduct the amount it has been doing from my paycheck, right? Or is that money I’ll get back in my paycheck for the rest of the year?
I’m assuming not, just double checking.

Your FSA account will continue to receive the amount set aside from your paycheck until you tell HR to remove the deduction, even if you spend all the money in the FSA account.

like

So you’re saying at most places you need to notify HR to eliminate the deduction once all the money is spent? 🤔

depends. did what you spend equal what was deducted?

actually nevermind. spend should be divided by number of paychecks.

Our startup plans to offer FSA benefits to employees starting next year. Has anyone in HR heard of Clarity Benefit Solutions? Or is there an FSA company that you'd recommend?

My hope is to buy and rent out a apartment while also owning a house and house hacking that by renting part of it out. Trying to understand all the steps, traps, and how to find if it’s a good investment.

Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

529 Plan VERSUS Prepaid

We live in Florida and currently have a Freshman in High School and a 16 month old. We hear from our friends and family with college bound children "I wish we would have done Florida PrePaid." Does anyone have recommendations on which plan to go with for each child? I once did the pros and cons on a whiteboard and it seemed like 529 was better.
