I have been working in restaurants for my entire career. In my mid to late 40's I lost my job as a server because the company went bankrupt. My decision was to try my hardest to find something other than a server. Was the best decision I made until last July. It took me almost two years but I was hired as a baker and I really enjoyed it even though it was a constant hustle. There's just something about handling fresh dough and the smell of fresh bread. Well last July my position was eliminated and I'm 61 trying to find my next opportunity. I would love to find a baking role again but it's hard to find a baking job since there's a lower turnover. In the meantime I'm exploring other options. Best of luck to you and may you find an amazing opportunity!
