Yes. We dont clock in and out. Just manage your work load and check emails in case something comes up.

I think it needs to be driven by what work needs to be done as opposed to how many billable hours you did. Of course, if you are exhausted and there is no immediate deadline, discuss with manager

No overtime. Just goes against the project budget. Nvm guys. Got wrapped up in a crapload of work today 😒 no surprise there

Just got into a full time grad program for international affairs that starts in January of 2021. (completely changing careers). I need to stay working at my firm until then and possible after to get the billable hours for my CPA. I passed all 4 exams and I refuse to give let that go to waste...... how do I tell my employer I'll be going to school in a way that they'll still let me work part time? Extremely nervous they're just going to let me go.

How are folks thinking about permanent life insurance? 45, making let’s say for example (not my exact numbers): $1M per year, not yet vested in pension. Was thinking need to replace the post tax take home, about $550k NPV’ed at 5% to age 55, so that’s like $3.2M. How do you make snowboarding trips more affordable? First timer and can drive to mammoth/lake tahoe so that saves on airfare, but b/w just the 2.5hr lesson, gear rental, clothing rental, and 3 day lift tickets, that’s $1000 alone.
