On the same boat. Had a routine, lost the routine, had it again, and the cycle continues. I’ll let you know when I figure it out.
I’ve been setting reminders on my phone so everyday at 8pm it reminds me to stretch. It helps me feel up for a workout after stretching (and if I don’t, at least I stretched and that’s helpful too!)
maybe you can slowly work your back to where you were before working for home. Like try working out once or twice a week then slowly work your way up. I know this works for me since it's really easy for me to get overwhelmed by all the stuff I need to do in a day 😅
right!! I think I try to swing back into what my routine was when i’m already feeling overwhelmed. I am always all in or all out so I like celebrating the little wins and adding on!! Thank you 🙂
Ah! Yes!!
Ok. So…
1. AINT NO ONE GONNA GET YOU THERE BUT YOU!!
you don’t need accountability. You need to be on your side..! Seriously. Learn how to support yourself. Workout clothes on the floor for when you wake up. And just do SOMETHING. Ok- if it’s a dance to a song , great!!
2. Do something EVERY DAY! not a lot. But each and every day. Make it fun! It can be easy.. but it HAS to be a full 10 minutes. And not necessarily more then that.
I workout every 2 hours for a 5-10 minute cardio warmup: just to get myself started

I pay for services (training, classes, an app to create my workouts) and also put on my workout clothes when I first wake up. After work, i may take 15 min to decompress but I'm in workout clothes and i force myself to put on my shoes and go to the gym. Even if I'm just on the bike for 20 min or walk on the treadmill, i make myself show up at least 3 times a week.

Yes i think the best thing you can do is find a time that works for you and just force yourself to show up! I've been doing that for 5 months now and most days i end up having a good workout and some days, I'm just incline walking or biking for 20-30 min. Either way, just get yourself there and you'll be good to go!
Thank you for this post because i’ve been feeling the same way, following for later responses
I’m not WFH, but I am away from my house 70+ hours a week with a newborn at home. Free time is scarce. You must, in advance, dedicate some time every other or every other other day for physical activity. Otherwise it will not work.
Even if that activity is walking for 30min you need to do something and stick to it. After a awhile, you will feel weird not doing it.
As for diet, mine is bad so no advice there! Good luck!
