Is Nagarro good to join? I have a fully remote opportunity which I'm pretty sure I can crack. Is the pay and benefits good at Nagarro? Do they provide laptop and test devices or will I have to work on my laptop? Do they give medical insurance etc? What if the project gets over. Do they have enough projects or will I be asked to move to a different technology? Will I be fired if on bench? Nagarro

Additional Posts in Sales Engineers
I have two years of automotive/aerospace manufacturing experience and am looking for new opportunities. I recently applied to a Solution Engineer - Commercial Manufacturing, Automotive, Energy (MAE) role at Salesforce, and it sounds like a great fit. Is anyone willing to offer me a referral or advice on how to move forward in the hiring process? Salesforce
Any Tableau SEs able to share some insights?
Hi there. Ex Deloitte Sr Mgr here, currently in tech pre sales (SaaS / MarTech). Recently spoke to both Salesforce and Adobe recruiters for roles that I thought were lateral moves (Sr SA / Sr SC), therefore I did not proceed with the selection process. The recruiters from both companies told me they typically hire at that level, and people are considered for promotion to Principal in 1 to 2 years. I found that odd. Is that right? What’s the typical TC for SAs and SCs there? (15+ yrs exp).

What kind of Sales Engineer doesn’t work from home? Either you should be traveling to customers with all the perks of travel (keeping your points etc) or remote demos should be done from home where you more likely have a better controlled environment. I ensure I have good lighting at home, better camera and not just the laptop camera, multiple monitors (minimum 3) . Offices are noisy and are horrible places to just do a customer remote demo. WFH is a benefit to sales and any company that doesn’t see that for sales engineers is missing out.
I’m an inside sales engineer. Essentially work with another sales engineer who lives in the territory as inside support so I assist with the quoting, answering customer calls and anything else to keep my TSE on the road in front of customers.
Hey, let it rip! Venting is healthy for you. I'm totally with you on people posting to social media when they're working from home. It's no wonder the top management always thinks people working remotely are totally gaming the system. Some of them are making a point of doing exactly that!

I’m a parent in a dual income household where my wife doesn’t have much flexibility to pick up the kids every day. If it makes you feel better, I stop doing meetings around 4pm at the latest, but most of my hard work and demo building happens between 9pm to 1-2am when I need to catch up. Despite looking like I work less than 8 hours a day on the surface, I’ve been meeting my quota every year I’ve been here. Hopefully many of your colleagues are doing what they can to contribute to your team’s success. Work delivery is different for everyone. I have a colleague with severe ADHD who can go on beast mode for 16-18 hours straight, then play video games/sleep all day to destress.
I actually work closely with our business development team! They are essentially outside technical sales reps at my current company not sure what that title does at other places. And yea I think this has been going on since before the pandemic but it was a lot quieter. During that pandemic these PM’s at big tech would post day in the life videos of them doing absolutely nothing and getting paid extremely well. And most of these roles only seem to hire from top schools so looks like they did the work on the front end (high school) to land that opportunity.
