Hii Guys, Could anyone give me some clarity on the below point. I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I had a discussion with HR on this and she told me that next process is pending from management side. It's been almost 10 days since from 2 nd round of interview. How much more time does it gonna take, any idea? Or is it normal. Please help me with this 🙏🙏 .Deloitte

More info:
1 - the first one I didn’t answer the “carried interest” question properly so I had a feeling I would get rejected
2 - second one was for an assistant controller position and I thought it was under qualified so wasn’t too bummed about not getting it
3 - third one, I really thought I had this one. I thought the interviewer and I hit it off pretty well but I guess not :(
No offense but I think you answered your own question - for 1 you were underprepared and 2 you applied for a job you aren’t qualified for. So prepare more and apply for jobs that match your skill level.
Use different recruiters and prepare well for the position you are applying for. In general if you are looking to go into fund accounting you have to know the technical stuff inside out to be able to answer those questions (aum of funds you audit, strategy, how to do a waterfall calc, what’s a clawback...). Ask a recruiter for a list of the types of questions they will ask and prepare to speak intelligently about them. Also, there is no rule saying you are supposed to get an offer from every interview you go on, they interview lots of people and sometimes you are not the best fit so don’t let it get you down. Good luck!
You going to get rejections throughout life but you only need one to make it happen. Keep going OP!!
It’s truly a numbers game. I didn’t get good at interviewing until around my 20th interview I had in a row. Then I was good because you eventually get a game plan down doing it consistently. But now that I haven’t done an interview in like 2 years.. i would suck if I went on one right now. Literally just book as many as you can and you’ll get better at it.
For the third one, sometimes it depends who you know unfortunately
You can ask the recruiter too, what you can work on
I'm extremely confident and personable in interviews, but many times the companies I applied to didn't care for a single answer I said as it made them feel I wasn't what they were looking for. Anything from level of travel desired, type of experience, what I want, my hopes for the future, other career goals, etc. One company turned me down because they asked for a weakness and when I said what one WAS but no longer is, they mistook it as STILL a weakness. Wording is crucial, but just be honest with your answers. Eventually you'll find a company looking for exactly what you want, but it does take time. I think I interviewed for 4 months before I found the right one.
