You’re a good dad
Just keep grinding, there is no perfect solution to this challenge. Keep doing your best. It’s your day-after-day presence with and love of your child that matters, not whether or not you have to tap out every once in awhile. Give yourself a break. We have hard jobs and we want to be great parents and our kids just want us 24/7. Something has to give at times.

Needed to hear this. Thanks
Nothing to feel guilty about at that age. Quality over quantity. The fact that you even asked for advice shows you’re doing your best to be the father you can be.
- Also a tired dad of 3 (8, 6, and 2)
Same boat brother.
This is why we’re wired and built to have kids much earlier in life, I think. It’s hard to match their energy level.
Keep grinding, OP. Kids are always going to beg to keep playing. Tale as old as time.
Thanks all - appreciate the support!
