Hey! I’m also a woman attorney and I made a mistake my first site visit. It was a residential construction case, and I attended w my consultant. There were a ton of co-defendants counsel (all men) there too. Everyone wore jeans and nice, but casual, shirts. They wore boots because the house was somewhat situated on slanted terrain. I, however, wore black slacks, white button up, and professional flats (thank goodness I didn’t wear heels). But, it wasn’t comfortable and I got it dirty because there was unfinished basement and walking through exterior, muddy property on a rainy day. Long story short - I personally think jeans or comfortable structured pants and boots/sneakers are acceptable. I wouldn’t do anything like leggings or sweat pants for sure, but you don’t need any suit jackets or skirts/dresses IMO.
It’s a construction site, dress for it. Jeans, boots/sneakers, jacket are fine. Don’t dress for the weekend, but don’t dress for the office either. I (male) usually wear jeans, boots, a button up or sweater and a jacket (waterproof for winter in the PNW). If it’s a commercial site I usually pack a hard hat and high viz vest. Not required but it’s come in handy a couple times.
Very casual, wear whatever makes you comfortable. Jeans and jacket are completely fine for this.
Jeans. Sneakers. Polo. Boom.
Ask your client if there are ppe requirements. They will be able to provide hats and vests, but you will likely need boots, at a minimum. If you wear glasses, opt for contacts as you may need to wear safety glasses.
Otherwise, pants/dark jeans and a firm pullover or fleece (if you have it) or sweater blazer type look.
