Not about Amazon but maybe someone has the answer I’m looking for :) At Meta if you interview for a contract role and get rejected does the 6 month cool off period still apply to you when apply to new jobs? Similarly, if you are employed by a staffing agency at Meta are you barred from interviewing for other roles there? Facebook (Meta)

Get ready to take a pay cut. You're on the high end of pay for the role, even for NYC...
90k?! How many years of experience before you got to that role?
I’m so aware 😩 If I internally transfer and stay within WPP, they would give me at least my current salary, right?
LA is definitely doable at 90k or close to that. SF, not so much. Do you want to stay in PM?
Yeah, I don't think I've ever heard of WPP clawing back anyone's pay... But you definitely won't get a raise for years. Even if you get promoted to senior in a couple years they'll probably give you only like 5k. But they'll make you fight for it and you'll have to wait *at least* one quarter for it to appear in your paycheck.
But also keep in mind that even staying within WPP, transferring to another WPP agency isn't really a transfer. At your level, you'd have to go through the hiring process, and you're priced out of a lot of mid level roles in other cities.
@Project Management Supervisor 1, I know and have heard that on the salary front. I’ve thought about potentially transferring to a product marketing manager role at a tech company, have you looked into that and what are your thoughts? Salaries tend to be higher and it’s still within roles/responsibilities that I like.
It's definitely possible, but it'll be a tough sell. Competition at tech companies is even worse than at ad agencies.
If your are doing this well at such a young age you seem to be doing very well and should probably ask yourself that question. You are doing something right at that age and that title.
Honestly you should ask for 110, you’ll get 100+ that way.
I disagree with PM1. Its incredibly difficult to find any LA agencies willing to pay above $75K even with big agency names and many years of experience at high-mid PM.
