I’m in the NJ/NY metro and was offered a senior operations role in Nevada. I previously earned $150k with 15+ years of experience; the offer is $85k. They cited Nevada’s lower cost of living and no state income tax. I countered based on market research and requested relocation. Is this pay gap typical for Nevada, or am I undervaluing myself? Hi! Recently discussed an associate graphic designer role with a recruiter. Is it reasonable to expect an 85k base in NYC? Am I underselling myself? They started with it being a 75-80k budgeted position. What are typical base salaries for someone with 4.5 ttl YOE? Does it matter that 3 YOE was in an adjacent industry?

I started QA at the company I am currently at 3 years ago. Long story short, within 4 months at the company, I was able to make a career change and step into a PM position. Without having the formal education or PM experience, only my 5 years in QA experience. When I started I made $65k and have jumped to $78k. I have seen other companies post $100k+. Annual review is tomorrow. Should I fight for more or look for more somewhere else if I lose that fight?
