I gave interview in Amazon and cleared all the rounds , then went on hold and still on hold due to hiring freeze in that departement. HR does respond and update me when reached out.
Interesting thing which happened here is iam cracking each every product based interviews now after my tough preparation for Amazon and getting higher packages than what Amazon would give. So whatever happens , happens for good. Cheers Amazon
Don't be sad that you couldn't get through a FAANG 🤙
I received an email from the HR at Monitor Deloitte that I've cleared the case round and a back to back discussion with partner and director of the team will be scheduled. Been almost 3 days since this email, haven't received asking for availability from the scheduling team. This for a role with their Lifesciences Strategy practice in the UK. How long do they typically take to schedule the final round of discussions? Do they eliminate candidates in this round?

It happened to me. Client was very hands on and close with strategy team. Strategy team was often on-site at client. Clients asked that they could meet candidates before hire and agency obliged. It’s not common but it’s not abnormal.
Not uncommon in a strategy role. Some clients have contracts giving them the right to meet any hire above a select title level.
I’ve never heard of that before. Always client intros after an onboard once you get the gig, but I haven’t interviewed for a few years now.
It could be that they have a really strong relationship with the client, which could actually be a good thing.
It’s happened to me once personally and seen it a few times. Usually when client is genuinely invested in the agency relationship and or if ‘casting’ is important. Not something to worry about I’d say.
I’ve been asked to meet the client twice as a last chemistry check before official hiring. In both cases it was a lunch meeting, relatively informal, and I got job offers both times.
Honestly, I wish I’d had the chance to meet clients before taking the job in a few other cases, as I would have declined the offer.
