I’m looking to get into a SDR/BDR position preferably in Saas. I had one string of interviews with a potential employer but unfortunately did not work out. After asking and receiving feedback on my interview, I have been heavily applying to other job postings. I pride myself on my interview skills but I can’t seem to make it past the initial screening through the job boards. Any tips on getting an interview? I have over 2 yrs of sales xp and am looking at entry level SDR positions.

I work at a tech startup and it mostly comprises developers. They can't stop emphasizing their importance in the food chain and I can't figure if I'm too humble or they're too arrogant.

I’ve worked in sales for 12 years (8 years retail sales and management, 4 years inside tech sales and management). I’m feeling the burn and looking for something else in the tech field. I’m making $140k. I have a college degree but no marketing, engineering, or product experience. What other departments/jobs could I jump to and still keep close to my OTE? My company covers in depth results each week, including meetings set/attended, wins, revenue, retention etc. I feel as if evaluating in such depth is detrimental to the psyche, as you never get to “ride the high.” In addition, some weeks are simply slower than others, and it’s not always representative of what the results at the end of the period or quarter will be. Is this not a big deal, and I’m I placing too much importance on it? Or is it beneficial to review results less frequently?
