I’m a GS14. You only need to be ready to learn. They are a ton of trainings and support to get you up to speed. You will be fine. Congrats on joining the service!

There's a lot of information out there. The usajobs site offers a lot of information + the info sessions the IRS is doing online most weeks (can find in Eventbrite) or the in-person hiring events (look it up in Eventbrite) because maybe there's one in your town. Also there's links in the USA jobs site to check out the GS levels and steps level (this is the pay information). Reddit USA jobs is a good source as well. There are several positions you could apply to. Check it out.
