I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?
Anyone here who left fed job and regretted it?

Good luck at Tik Tok! Talk a lot about the why behind your work not just what it is or why it’s cool. Why it was effective is important.
I went from art director to creative strategist. Good luck it’s a great way to evolve your craft. I think someone mentioned but show metrics or some type of concrete meaning to your projects. Look at the target and community you’re engaging then show how your work delivered results to answer the needs. Good luck. 👍🏼
Examples of how you have created strategic frameworks for your own creative outputs, and how your recommendations can bridge different stakeholders - tech, product, marketing, etc.

Go for it! Where the growth will be!
Try to research the specific team/project you’ll be working on deeply. The success of CS’ depend a lot on their ability to play well with others and to be one step ahead in terms of understanding the project and it’s nuances. That role is inevitably one that gets celebrated when things go well and scrutinized when they don’t.
When I interview CS candidates, I’m looking at their thinking with concrete examples + the process of how they got there. Lots of people doing cool or creative shit but very few who can walk someone else through it with smarts.
Good luck!!
I made the move to a software services company 2 years ago. Have been very grateful for the way it’s worked out.
It might seem like an advertising strategist and a technology strategist are completely different roles. The outcomes and tactics often are... But what helped me to illustrate the value of my previous agency experience was making the connection to a common focus - at the core of both industries, the job to be done is to try and better understand human problems.
When you start talking about your portfolio, make sure to talk more about the insights that lead to the execution of the work. A strategy director will but much more interested to hear your take on insights > execution. They just want to see how your brain works and your thinking process
Do some free training offered by the platform before the interview to make sure you really understand their product to the fullest.
Is it Facebook? If so, you have to mention how great you think it is and how much you love Zuck. Do not mention Cambridge analytica if you want the job. They put their heads in the sand.
Yeah I had a chat with FB and they ghosted after I asked questions. Or maybe I suck too 🤷
