I have heard that ENTJ is the most common, particularly with regards to strategy work. Never heard INTJ was the most common.
I feel your pain. Truly, I do. That was me for many years.
Honestly, I failed pretty hard at it until I started owning program level responsibilities and/or managing my own team of resources. Turns out I don’t mind working on teams so much when *IM* the one setting expectations and establishing group behaviors.
Best advice: find a piece of work to own independently that requires multiple inputs from team and/or some kind of workstream lead roll where you’re accountable for overseeing execution. Both situations force you to integrate with broader team BUT allow you control the collaboration.

It seems strange that introversion is more common in consulting given the nature of the work, although I’ve heard it’s common. I’m ambivert - go back and forth. I find some consultants very fake - trying to be extroverted to the point where serious cliches develop
Accept yourself and feel great about your strengths. Speak less if you are INTJ but when you do make sure it’s genuine feedback. INTJs have strengths to provide perspectives that others tend to ignore. Which can be valuable
